Should I expect interference from other devices in the 900MHz ISM band like cordless phones?
Because of the frequency hopping operation, interference should be very rare and will never cause a disruption of the normal use of the radio. If permanent interference is present on a particular frequency within the hopset being used, it can only interfere for a few tenths of a second because that is the amount of time an eXRS radio will be on that particular frequency. This would not be disruptive to normal use, but the channel can be changed to avoid the interfering device if desired. While most new cordless phones operate far away at 2.4GHz and 5.8GHz, there are still some 900MHz cordless phones in use. 900MHz Cordless phones typically operate just below and just above the spectrum used by eXRS so they will not be a problem.
